About Nerds & Nitrous
Hey, I’m Ryan — the guy behind Nerds & Nitrous. I started this little community right here in Douglas County because I wanted a spot where people who love cars, tech, and games could all kick back together.
Cars have been my thing since I was a kid. I’ve always been drawn to tuners, and these days my pride and joy is a Mitsubishi 3000GT (with plans to add a few more rides to the stable). Whether it’s wrenching in the garage or cruising with friends, cars are what got me hooked on building and tinkering early on.
That carried over into tech. I’m currently studying to become a software engineer, diving deep into web development and learning how to make cool, functional stuff on the internet (this site included). The same curiosity that made me take apart engines is what pushes me to break down code and rebuild it better.
And then there are games. I’m a casual gamer — I usually stick to single-player adventures, but if friends are around, I’m always down to party up. For me, gaming is more about the stories and the laughs than being competitive.
At its heart, Nerds & Nitrous is about bringing those worlds together. Around here, you’ll find people geeking out over builds (cars or PCs), swapping game recommendations, or just hanging out. No gatekeeping, no drama — just a local crew who love what they love.
So whether you’re into turbochargers, coding side projects, or late-night gaming sessions, you’ve got a spot here with us.
